In March 2001
I had a snowboard accident and broke my back. Now I'm paralysed from the
waist down. Before this time I've always been in-line skating, snowboarding,
skateboarding, and wakeboarding. Because my passion to do these sports
is so big I started looking for a way to do my sports in an alternative
way. The accident could not stop me from moving my borders. I find the most challenges in skiing and wakeboarding. Beside my sports I run my own bussines K-J Projects. With this company I work on a for better lifestyle for disabled people. www.kjprojects.com 
In the summerseason I go wakeboarding, my homebase is Lago di Veere, Holland, moreover I try on as much other locations in the Netherlands and foreign countries as possible. In the wintermonths I'll go out in the snow for some serious skiing. Beside Freestyle I'm also active in racing, in which I hope to reach the paralympics in Vancouver2010. I compete in all the disciplines being slalom, giant slalom and Super-G and Downhill.
